Shift

Shift follows the relationship between a doctor and a nurse which is tipped off balance when a mysterious and mute patient is admitted to their ward. Juliette is single and lonely working night shift in the psychiatric hospital. Her fascination with the mysterious John Doe (JD) is peaked when she finds a journal that the patient has written documenting his life, loves and grief. The closer Juliette becomes to JD the more the lead doctor, Malcolm, with whom she is romantically involved, is threatened. When Juliette questions Malcolm's medical decisions the pair's conflict escalates, ultimately resulting in dire consequences.
